Refractories used for carbon black production (carcass and tread black) reactors require very high refractoriness and excellent resistance to thermal spalling. CUMI (Australia) offers 99.5% alumina based refractories for hot face linings (1800o – 1900o C) in the combustion, restriction and reaction zones. Mullite range of bricks are offered for lower temperature reactors (1550o – 1750oC).
